Renoir 16 Month 2012 Calendar. Pierre-Auguste Renoir first started work in a porcelain factory as a boy where his drawing talents led to him being chosen to paint designs on fine china. After some time at the factory, Renoir enrolled in art school and during these early years he often visited the Louvre to study the French master painters.
Along with Monet, Renoir is most famous for establishing the impressionalism movement within the art world of the 1860's although he often couldn’t even afford to by paint!
