National Railway Museum Card - Flying Scotsman |
The age of steam is a truly marvellous era. This square greetings card is part of the wider National Railway Museum collection available on our web site. This card features the Flying Scotsman which was built at Doncaster Works, in South Yorkshire, in 1923 to a design by H. N. Gresley. It was the first locomotive built for the London & North Eastern Railway and this A1 design would go on to be the standard heavy express locomotive of the company and would lead to the A3 and A4 classes such as Mallard.FREE STANDARD UK P&P or from just £1.99 for Recorded Delivery!
