Cavalier King Charles Spaniels come in a variety of colours mainly classified as Blenheim, Ruby, Black/Tan and Tricolour. They originate around the 1920's when they selectively bred longer nosed King Charles Spaniels and in 1940 the breed was separately classified form its forbearers as Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
