Sex Pistols 2012 Calendar. The Sex Pistols originally comprised vocalist Johnny Rotten, guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook and bassist Glen Matlock (replaced by Sid Vicious). The band was only together for three years which produced just four single releases and one studio album. The Sex Pistols are widely credited with initiating the punk movement in the UK and their single "God Save the Queen" released in 1977 is their most famous.
